Episode 5 – Seventy Years Later
The curse was finally broken.
Nova tried to forget everything that had happened in the underground temple and continued living her life.
Days turned into weeks.
Weeks turned into months.
And months turned into years.
Nova grew older.
But Valeriy...
He never changed.
The people around Nova grew old one by one.
Some passed away.
Others disappeared from her life.
But Valeriy remained exactly the same.
One day, Nova looked at him and asked:
— Why don't you ever get older?
Valeriy simply smiled.
— Some people's destinies are different.
Nova never truly understood what he meant.
Years continued to pass.
Until one day...
Seventy years had gone by.
Nova was now an old woman.
She could barely get out of bed by herself.
One quiet night, she closed her eyes.
And suddenly, she found herself in the familiar foggy place from her dreams.
Valeriy was standing in front of her.
This time, there was sadness in his eyes.
— Nova...
Nova smiled.
— I knew you would come.
Valeriy stepped closer.
— It's time to ask for your wish.
For years, Valeriy had believed that Nova would ask for immortality.
He looked at her gently.
— What do you wish for?
Nova remained silent for a long time.
Then she shook her head.
— I don't want to be immortal.
Valeriy looked surprised.
— Why?
Tears filled Nova's eyes.
— Because I lived this life alone.
She looked down.
— I never got married.
— I never had children.
— I never had a family waiting for me.
Valeriy listened quietly.
Nova continued:
— In my next life, I only want a peaceful life.
Valeriy asked:
— What else?
Nova smiled through her tears.
— I want a family that loves me.
— I want children.
— I want to marry someone I truly love.
She paused.
— And I want to be happy.
Valeriy gently took her hand.
— I promise.
Nova closed her eyes.
— Thank you.
The dream slowly disappeared.
The next morning, Nova woke up feeling strangely peaceful.
She knew that her life was coming to an end.
But for the first time...
She wasn't afraid.
That night, Nova peacefully passed away.
And Valeriy kept the promise he had made.
Because Nova's story...
was not over yet.
Her next life was about to begin.
