"Don't touch me!" Lale's voice echoed through the cold stone walls of the mountain house. The darkness in Demir's eyes seemed to swallow even the dim light in the room. She gripped the knife in her hand tighter. "Where's Rüzgar?" she hissed.
Demir laughed. That laugh was more terrifying than the rough waves of the Black Sea. "Rüzgar? He's not stupid enough to come and save you, Lale. You're mine now."
*Mine? Never! Where's Rüzgar? Why isn't he coming? Maybe... maybe Demir is right. Maybe he doesn't care about me.* Lale's inner voice trembled with fear. But she tried not to show it. "You're wrong," she said, her voice shaky but determined. "Rüzgar keeps his word."
Demir took another step closer. The sharp edge of the knife touched Lale's pale cheek. "His words mean something to you, huh? Don't forget, Lale, he's a murderer. His words are no different from the hiss of a poisonous snake."
Just then, Demir flinched at a noise from outside. A gunshot sound! Then, a crackling sound and footsteps...
"Rüzgar!" That was the only word that came out of Lale's lips. Hope was like a ray of light seeping through the darkness for a moment.
The door burst open, and Rüzgar entered like a shadow. His eyes were gleaming with rage. He looked at Demir. That look was so cold it could freeze a person's soul.
"If you touch her," Rüzgar said, his voice icy, "I'll send you to the deepest pit of hell."
Demir smirked. "You? You're going to send me? Aren't you just a pawn like me, Rüzgar? A puppet carrying out the boss's orders."
Rüzgar's answer was a hard punch to Demir's face. As Demir collapsed to the ground, Rüzgar quickly moved towards Lale.
"Are you okay?" he asked, looking over Lale with worried eyes.
Lale nodded. "I'm fine. But... I don't trust Demir. He's hiding something."
Rüzgar gently grabbed Lale's arm. "We need to get out of here. Now."
Together, they left the mountain house. The night was pitch black. Only the stars were guiding them. As they walked into the depths of the forest, Lale clung tightly to Rüzgar's arm. His presence was relieving her fear to some extent.
"Where are we going?" Lale asked in a whisper.
"To a safe place," Rüzgar replied. His voice was more determined than ever. "I'll protect you."
*Don't lie to me, Rüzgar. How will you protect me? You are my nightmare.* Lale's inner voice was screaming. But the determination in Rüzgar's eyes made her want to believe him, even for a moment.
After hours of walking, they reached a small cabin. The cabin was hidden in the depths of the forest, a place almost forgotten. Rüzgar opened the door and ushered Lale inside.
The cabin was warmer and more inviting than it looked from the outside. The fire burning in the fireplace gave the room a dim light and warmth. Lale felt safe for a moment.
Rüzgar squatted in front of the fireplace and stoked the fire. "You're safe here," he said, turning to Lale. "No one can find us."
"I want to believe that," Lale said, her voice trembling. "But... but I'm scared."
Rüzgar stood up and approached Lale. His eyes met Lale's eyes. At that moment, time seemed to stand still.
"Don't be afraid," Rüzgar said, his voice a whisper. "I'm here."
Rüzgar's hand touched Lale's cheek. That touch upset all the balances within Lale. Her heart began to beat fast. The desire in Rüzgar's eyes was also affecting Lale.
He slowly leaned down and pressed his lips to Lale's lips. That kiss was full of passion, desire, and danger. Lale responded. She surrendered herself to Rüzgar's arms.
That night, there was only the crackling of the fire and the breath sounds of two people in the cabin. While a storm was raging outside, inside, two hearts were getting closer to each other.
When morning came, sunlight was seeping through the windows of the cabin. Lale woke up in Rüzgar's arms. He was sleeping peacefully. Lale examined his face. *How can you be so cruel and so compassionate at the same time?*
Rüzgar's eyes opened. He looked at Lale and smiled. "Good morning," he said, his voice sleepy.
"Good morning," Lale replied.
Rüzgar sat up and got out of bed. "I'll make breakfast," he said.
Lale also got out of bed and started to get dressed. At that moment, there was a knock on the cabin door.
Rüzgar and Lale looked at each other. No one knew they were here.
Rüzgar quietly approached the door and slowly opened it. Outside, a stranger was standing. The man had a letter in his hand.
"I'm looking for Rüzgar Altun," the man said in a formal tone. "I need to deliver this letter to him."
Rüzgar frowned. He took the letter and waited for the man to leave. Then, he looked at the letter. There was only one word written on it: "TOY".
Lale's face turned pale white. She knew that word. That word was a signal the boss gave them.
"This... this isn't good," Lale said, her voice trembling. "Something very bad is going to happen."
