The next morning, Ethan returns to the same café, secretly hoping to see Olivia again.
To his surprise, she walks through the door.
Olivia: “Are you following me, or is this your favorite café?”
Ethan: “Maybe I was hoping you'd come back.”
Olivia smiles and sits beside him.
Over the following days, they meet regularly. They walk beside the river, share their favorite songs, and talk about their dreams.
One evening, while walking beneath the golden sunset, Olivia tells Ethan that she is afraid of falling in love because she doesn't want to get hurt.
Ethan looks into her eyes.
Ethan: “I can't promise that life will always be perfect, but I can promise to be honest with you.”
Olivia gently takes his hand.
Neither of them says the word “love,” but their hearts are beginning to understand what their lips cannot yet express.
