Silent Night

Bölüm 2

Chapter 2

The instant the scalpel touched her skin, Aylin's mind flashed back to that cursed night when her mother took her last breath. The blinding light of the operating room lamps, the deathly silence filling the room... and her mother's pale face. It was then that Aylin swore revenge. Now, years later, the sharp smell of the autopsy room had replaced that operating room, but the fire of revenge still burned with the same intensity.

"Yes, Şahin," Dr. Aslan said, his voice icy, but Aylin had seen that dark spark in his eyes. "You will assist me in the dissection."

Aylin gripped the scalpel in her hand tightly. To be at the mercy of her mother's killer, in front of him... it was the cruelest twist of revenge. But she would not give up. On the contrary, she would get closer.

"Of course, sir," she replied, trying not to let her voice tremble. "I am at your service."

A faint smile formed on Dr. Aslan's lips. "Let's see about that."

As she made the first incision, Aylin's hands trembled. The cold and lifeless body of the cadaver reminded her of her mother. She closed her eyes tightly, took a deep breath, and composed herself. It's just a cadaver, she thought. Just a tool.

Dr. Aslan approached Aylin. "Go deeper," he whispered in her ear. "Don't be afraid. This is medicine. There is no room for emotions."

Aylin could feel his breath on her neck. A shiver ran down her spine. This man's proximity both attracted and frightened her. Would she succumb to revenge or to this dark attraction?

"I know, sir," she replied, her voice barely a whisper.

As the dissection progressed, Aylin's attention faltered. Dr. Aslan's gaze was burning into her. As if he were trying to penetrate the depths of her soul. Aylin wanted to unravel this man's secrets. But at the same time, she knew she had to stay away from him.

"Şahin," Dr. Aslan said suddenly. "Lift your eyes and look at me."

Aylin raised her head. Her eyes met Dr. Aslan's dark and piercing gaze. In that moment, time stood still. Everything around them faded away. There were only two of them. Two strangers challenging each other, desiring each other.

"What do you see?" Dr. Aslan asked, his voice hypnotic.

Aylin swallowed. "A... a professor," she replied.

Dr. Aslan smiled. "You're wrong, Şahin. You see something in me that no one else has seen. And I see the same thing in you."

Aylin's heart began to beat rapidly. What did this man know? Did he know about her revenge plans? Or was this just a game?

"I don't understand," Aylin said, confused.

Dr. Aslan gently cupped Aylin's chin. "You will understand," he whispered. "When the time comes, you will understand everything."

At that moment, the door of the autopsy room opened and a student entered. Aylin and Dr. Aslan quickly moved away from each other.

"I'm sorry, sir," the student said hesitantly. "I came to ask a question."

Dr. Aslan corrected the expression on his face. "Yes, Mr. Demir? Go ahead."

As the student asked his question, Aylin's gaze was fixed on Dr. Aslan. This man was hiding behind a veil of secrets. And Aylin was determined to lift that veil.

When the autopsy lesson ended, Aylin gathered her belongings and prepared to leave the classroom. Just then, Dr. Aslan called out to her.

"Şahin," he said. "Can you wait a moment?"

Aylin turned to Dr. Aslan, her heart pounding. "Yes, sir?"

Dr. Aslan approached Aylin. "I want to talk to you in private," he said. "Come to my office tomorrow afternoon."

Aylin looked at Dr. Aslan in surprise. Was this invitation a trap? Or was he offering her an opportunity?

"Okay, sir," she replied. "See you tomorrow."

As Aylin left the autopsy room, her mind was in turmoil. She couldn't figure out what Dr. Aslan wanted, what he was planning. But she was sure of one thing: this man would change her life forever.

In her room, Aylin looked at Dr. Aslan's photo. In her eyes, there was both admiration and hatred. This man had become an obsession for her. And Aylin didn't know where this obsession would take her. But no matter what, she would avenge her mother's death.

She couldn't sleep all night. Her thoughts were filled with Dr. Aslan. She was eager to learn the truth about him. But at the same time, she was afraid of him. Because she knew that this man's dark secrets could darken her life as well.

The next day, Aylin went to Dr. Aslan's office in the afternoon. She knocked on the door and entered.

Dr. Aslan was sitting behind his desk. He smiled when he saw Aylin. "Welcome, Şahin," he said. "Please, sit down."

Aylin sat down in the chair. Her heart was pounding like crazy in her chest.

"I wanted to talk to you," Dr. Aslan said with a serious expression. "Because I see a potential in you that I don't see in other students."

Aylin looked at Dr. Aslan in surprise. "What do you mean, sir?"

Dr. Aslan took a file from his desk and handed it to Aylin. "This is a special research project," he said. "And I'm inviting you to take part in this project."

Aylin opened the file and glanced at the information inside. Her eyes widened in surprise. This project was about illegal organ trafficking.

"This... this is very dangerous," Aylin said, her voice trembling.

Dr. Aslan smiled. "Yes, it's dangerous," he said. "But it's also very profitable."

Aylin didn't know what to say. Dr. Aslan was inviting her into a dark world. And Aylin was undecided whether to accept this invitation or not.

"What do you say, Şahin?" Dr. Aslan asked impatiently. "Are you in?"

Aylin took a deep breath. She closed her eyes and imagined her mother's face. Revenge, she thought. This is an opportunity for revenge.

"I'm in," Aylin said with a determined voice. "I will take part in this project."

A devilish smile appeared on Dr. Aslan's lips. "Great," he said. "Then, let's begin."

At that moment, Aylin knew that she had entered the darkest path of her life. But there was no turning back. Revenge would drag her along this path. And in the end, the truth would come out.
